The (missing) DEEP PORE CLEANSER

I've always been a fan of the good old Multani mitti that we all grew up using. Whether it's giving you a quick glow before a big event or a deep cleanse regularly, it never disappoints. Ready to use masks have grown in popularity over the years because of the convenience that they offer and I'm a fan of quite a few but these masks were a hard pass for me.

De Tan Skin Radiance Mask, with Lactic Acid, Brazilian Purple clay & Kaolin Clay, Foxtale, 75g, Rs.545

Everyone's raving about this mask and even my own friend is a fan but personally I found this mask a bit drying which is surprising because I have oily skin. The mask does what it claims, it de tans quite well but the radiance part might be questionable. My skin has a decent tolerance to actives but this mask gives a significant burning sensation to me son I would definitely not recommend it to someone with sensitive skin.

Mango De Tan Clay Mask, Dot & Key, 70g, Rs.499

Unlike the other more popular masks from this brand, this variant is, to put it politely, underwhelming. There is no de tanning effect and the mask is more creamy than clayey so it doesn't even cleanse the pores. This one is a hard pass

You're just better off using a homemade clay mask in comparison to these. So save the money and buy yourself a well deserved treat. We all need one from time to time.
